• Archdiocese of Baltimore Formation for Ministry with Young Adults: The Archdiocese of Baltimore is sponsoring a two-part training workshop for all those interested in learning more about and acquiring skills in ministry with, for, and to people in their 20’s and 30’s. This would include clergy, religious, young adult ministry core teams, sacramental preparation ministers (especially for Baptism and Marriage), and vocation ministers. The training will be at the Church of the Resurrection in Ellicott City, MD from 6-9pm on May 16 and May 30. Please plan to attend both sessions. Register online at www.baltimorecatholic.org/formation
• Retreat Day for Families with Special Needs: On May 7th, the Office of Special Needs Ministry is sponsoring a retreat day for families with special needs at the Msgr. O’Dwyer Retreat House. To register, mail in the registration form, or contact Deacon Bill Flemming by email or phone, 410-547-5372.
• Next Given retreat, June 10th: The Given Retreat will be held at St. John the Evangelist in Severna Park on June 10th. If your parish is near Severna Park, invite couples to attend, be they dating, engaged or married. For more information watch the video below or go to the registration and FAQ page.
• Requiescat in Pace: We were saddened to learn last week of the death of Sr. Mary Teresa Day, SNDdeN. Sister was a faith formator known for her exuberance, her life-long commitment to life-long formation, and her kindly guidance to others in the ministry. Please keep Sister and her family in your prayers.
