A Me-First Mission by Abby Kibler, Coordinator of Discipleship Formation
• Young Catholics leaving the faith: Last year, the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate (CARA) conducted a research on young Catholics leaving the faith. This article is based on two studies, neither of which are publicly available though one is intended to be shared with the US Bishops and published widely when it is completed in 2017. These interesting findings hit close to home – our Catholic schools, faith formation programs, and youth ministry – and shed light into new challenges and opportunities for parish leaders.
