Parish Table Talk

Mid Atlantic Congress

Have you invited everyone that you’d like to see attend? We’ll help you run down the check list: RCIA team members? Liturgical planning committee? Stewardship/Finance personnel? School leaders? Music ministers?  Welcoming committee? Catechists? Outreach committee? Youth ministry volunteers? Potential volunteers who are looking for their niche? Marriage prep sponsor couples? Disabilities ministry? Hispanic ministry or other cultural groups in your parish? Bible study/small group leaders? All of your own staff and pastoral council? YOU?

MAC is a wonderful opportunity for growth and formation – and right in our own archdiocese! Take advantage of the resources and renewal offered for your whole parish community. Register today and invite others to attend! Only $30 for a one day registration on Saturday!  16 Days and Counting!

March for Life 2March for Life:  Pray for the over 2,500 folks from our Archdiocese who will be attending this important march this Friday, January 22nd.  Looking to connect with folks from the Archdiocese when you are there?  Look for our flags and red and yellow scarves.  We will be gathering in the lower level of the Verizon Center following the Youth Rally, and then at the Washington Monument on the mall for the March.

If you can’t join us at the March For Life in person, join in the pilgrimage with your prayers. Check out 9 Days for Life, or other prayers to unite your day to those marching in Washington.

Newest Year of Mercy Video: share this video on the Holy Doors and their Biblical roots.

Transitions:

  • Carol Pacione, Pastoral Life Director at St. Pius X Church has announced that she will be retiring effective March 31st, 2016.  We wish Carol all the best as she begins this new chapter in her life.
