Parish Table Talk

•  “Volunteer Appreciation Day” for Prison Ministry: “Volunteer Appreciation Day” for Prison Ministry and those interested will be this Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Saint Lawrence in Jessup beginning with Mass at 8:45 a.m. Our guest speaker is John Sheriden. Come hear his story from abuse and poverty to his encounter and journey with Christ and becoming an FBI agent.

•  Fortnight for Freedom: This year’s Fortnight for Freedom national opening Mass is June 21 at 7:00 p.m. Please advise if you plan to attend and, for those representing organizations, the number of seats that should be reserved for you and/or your members. As in years past, parking is available in the parking garage at Charles and Franklin, in addition to street parking. The USCCB website offers a video and other resources for the Fortnight. Thank you for your continued support of this important initiative in our Church.

•  Need Help Selecting Songs?: This website from the National Association of Pastoral Musicians offers assistance with selecting songs for Sundays and solemnities. Let us know if you find this helpful, or if you use other aides which might be useful for other music directors throughout the archdiocese.
