• Religious Freedom week: Starting one June 22nd, Religious Freedom week is a time that the U.S. Catholic Conference of Bishops (USCCB) is calling us to pray, reflect, and act on religious liberty in our country and abroad. Our religious freedom rights in this country not only us to worship in freedom, but also to serve others in the many ways such as in healthcare, immigrant and refugee resettlement, child welfare, education, and more. • Cardinal Turkson’s visit to Basilica: Cardinal Peter Turkson, the Vatican Prefect for the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, recently visited the Baltimore Basilica to celebrate Mass on June 16th. The Catholic Review, which also wrote an article about his visit, made a video of his homily. Check it out and share with your communities. The Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development is responsible for social justice issues such as migration, health, charitable works, and care of creation.
