Parish Table Talk
• NFP Teacher Training: March 24-26 there will be a Natural Family Planning FAF Ovulation Method Master Teacher Institute Training. For more information see the linked flyer here.
• A new sacramental prep program: Dynamic Catholic just announced their new sacramental prep program for Eucharist and Reconciliation, “Blessed.” In addition to a student workbook and teacher guide, the program includes parent engagement resources, animated video and soon will also include audio. To find out more about Blessed and if it will be a good fit for the needs of your parish, visit dynamiccatholic.com/blessed
• Resource Spotlight: Wondering how to get your teens to understand, appreciate, and engage in the Mass? Check out Altaration, a resource for teens on the Mass. Have you integrated this into your confirmation prep, religious ed or youth ministry program? If you have or will be using the ideas or resources from Altaration in your parish, leave a review in our resource section of the BeMissionaryDisciples.org website.
• Marriage vocabulary: To properly convey the vocation of marriage to couples preparing for marriage and to married couples in our parish, consider the ideas of this article about the charism of marriage. Could a renewed vocabulary in how we speak of marriage deepen couples’ understanding of the call to be salt, light, and leaven?
Transitions
After serving for the past four years as the Coordinator of Pastoral Leadership Formation in
the Department of Evangelization, Julie St. Croix is now serving as the Pastoral Associate in the Office of the Urban Vicariate. Julie has great passion and enthusiasm for ministry and while she will be greatly missed in the Department of Evangelization, we look forward to working with her in serving the Urban Vicariate. A huge thank-you to Julie for all she has done for the Department and in the work of Pastoral Leadership Formation over these years!
